The United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders to conduct the final evaluation of the Earth Network project.
The final evaluation will cover the period from December 2020 to November 2024 and will focus on the project’s relevance, effectiveness and impact based on its main expected results :
- (i) improved capacity in environmental management, restoration and resilience of UNESCO designated sites;
- (ii) exchange of experiences, knowledge and best practices;
- (iii) enhanced environmental awareness among youth and communities for transformative changes in values and practices;
- (iv) strengthened international environmental cooperation on the management, conservation and safeguarding of the UNESCO designated sites;
- (v) improved inclusion of biodiversity and ocean preservation as a priority in our daily lives, lifestyles and living spaces to drive behavioural change, and;
- (vi) increased conscience on the interdependence between our health and Earth’s health. It will further assess its coherence with UNESCO’s strategic objectives and determine the efficiency and sustainability of the project.
The external final evaluation aims to assess the project implementation, gather feedback from beneficiaries and stakeholders involved, identify challenges and barriers to project implementation, and identify opportunities and best practices to address these potential challenges, informing the donor and UNESCO Secretariat for future project design.
Your electronic offer comprising of technical proposal and financial proposal, to be submitted in two (2) separate e-mails (please refer to the submission procedure detailed in Annex I/Section D.
