An International Rotary and Fulbright Scholar, Michele Tarsilla received his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Evaluation from Western Michigan University, an M.S. in International Development from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and a one-year graduate diploma in Public Policy and Program Evaluation from Carleton University in Ottawa. An IPDET graduate (2008), Michele joined the IPDET faculty in 2014. Dr. Tarsilla lectures on evaluation in a number of universities around the world. For over 10 years, he has been conducting evaluations of projects funded by the World Bank, FAO, WFP, DfiD and USAID, in a variety of sectors (including education, health, agriculture and food security). He has worked in over thirty countries and is fully proficient in six languages.
