As signatories to the Youth in Evaluation manifesto, the UNFPA IEO and the EvalYouth continue to make concerted efforts to deliver on its commitments. Notably, in collaboration with the Youth Steering Committee of the formative evaluation of the UNFPA support to adolescents and youth, the UNFPA IEO and EvalYouth developed a new guide that provides practical and useful ways to engage young people in each phase of the evaluation process. This guide, building on real-world experience of the abovementioned evaluation, helps to better understand “how” to engage young people in evaluation in a more intentional, systematic and meaningful manner throughout the evaluation lifecycle. They offer this resource to the global evaluation community to better leverage the power of youth in evaluation.
