The IDEAS Election Committee is pleased to announce the results of the nominations for the two vacant Board positions. There are two outstanding nominees for the open positions:
- IDEAS Treasurer: Peter E.Wichmand (second term), Denmark; nominated by Rob van den Berg and seconded by Denis Jobin.
- IDEAS Representative for South Asia, East Asia, Oceania and the Pacific: Sonal Zaveri (second term), India; nominated by Rajib Nandi and seconded by Jennifer Norins.
According to the IDEAS Election By-laws, both nominees are elected as new member of the IDEAS Board from May 17, 2025:
- Peter E. Wichmand has been elected for IDEAS Treasurer in his second term unopposed
- Sonal Zaveri has been elected for IDEAS Representative for South Asia, East Asia, Oceania and the Pacific in her second term unopposed.
