The International Evaluation Academy hold a collaborative event with EvalPartners, IOCE, EES, APEA, AfrEA, ReLAC, EvalforEarth, IDEAS, sharing our 3 Horizons futures thinking work conducted with the evaluation field over the last year. Do come to share ideas of the initiatives you know of that have the potential to be transformative for the field.

Background: As evaluation becomes more attuned to the interconnected crises of our time, the need for forward-thinking and transformational approaches is urgent. This interactive session uses the 3 Horizons framework to explore where the evaluation field is today, envision a future where evaluative practice actively contributes to addressing the polycrisis, and identify existing initiatives and collaborations we can build on to get there. Participants will thus help shape collaborative work to take the evaluation field forward.

Objective: The wider evaluation community is aware of what has emerged from the 3HEI work, help to inform this direction for shifting the evaluation field, identify current transformational (H2+) initiatives and are interested to collaborate on taking it forward.
