The Election Committee is pleased to announce the results of IDEAS Board Elections 2024
We congratulate again the candidate who was elected unopposed:
- Lennise Baptiste has been elected as IDEAS Secretary General in her second term.
We had three candidates for the remaining vacant post: IDEAS Vice-President The voting took place between 3 and 10 May, 2024. In total, 86 votes were received:
- 66 valid votes (members in good standing).
- 20 invalid votes (from non members (16) or members (4) who voted twice; in the latter case, it was the second vote that was retained).
The certified election results for the post of IDEAS Vice-President are as follow:
- Serge Eric Yakeu Djiam: 31 votes (47%, elected)
- Adolfo Arguello Vives: 22 votes (33.3%)
- Djelloul Saci: 13 votes (19.7%)
It is our pleasure to congratulate the winner of the elections:
- Serge Eric Yakeu Djiam who has been elected as IDEAS Vice-President in his second term.
We would also like to thank the outstanding candidates Adolfo Arguello Vives and Djelloul Saci who did not succeed this time. We look forward to your further cooperation.
