With evaluations we want to identify what impact the performance of the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has, as well as what works well and what does not. The evaluations provide accountability, create transparency through their publication, and represent a fundamental element for our decisions.

„USING KNOWLEDGE“ is not only the title of the report, but also its central theme, which runs like a red thread through the Evaluation Report 2020. It recaps the latest findings from the evaluations and the consequences that the GIZ has drawn from the recommendations. At the end, it provides an outlook on ongoing and planned evaluations. The event will focus on key statements from the report on the quality of our services.
